Paper Submission
The IWBF 2026 Technical Program Committee invites submissions of original and unpublished research contributions aligned with the topics in the Call for Papers. Please follow the formatting instructions below and submit your manuscript via the submission system.
General Rules
- No-show policy: Accepted papers should be presented by one of the authors as a condition for publication.
- At least one of the authors must register at the standard registration rate (i.e., no PhD/Master Student discounts) before the camera ready deadline.
- Each author registration covers only one paper. Additional authors can benefit from some discount.

Formatting Guidelines
- Language: English.
- Paper length: up to 6 pages, including results, figures, and references (overlength submissions will not be reviewed).
- Template: IEEE conference style (A4, two-column): IEEE conference style
- Ensure your manuscript is anonymized for double-blind review (remove author names/affiliations, self-references, metadata).
- File format: PDF, fonts embedded.

- Paper Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026
- Notification of Acceptance: February 28, 2026
- Camera-Ready Submission: March 15, 2026
- Workshop: April 23–24, 2026
All deadlines are 23:59 CET unless stated otherwise.
Policies
- Originality: Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
- Double-blind review: Authors must ensure anonymity.
- Ethics: Works involving biometric/forensic data should state consent, approvals, and responsible data handling.
- Reproducibility: We encourage sharing code/data where possible.
Camera-Ready Instructions
Accepted papers should be prepared taking into consideration the reviewers' comments and must adhere to the final formatting requirements. At camera-ready time, include authors and affiliations and ensure all figures are high-resolution and accessible.
During camera-ready submission, the copyright form will have to be accessed and filled in using the service provided by IEEE eCF, and then downloaded and uploaded into CMT. You can find the link to access the IEEE eCF site on Microsoft CMT (available after acceptance).
